Tragic Incident at Ajayi Crowther University: Student Beaten to Death
A male student of Ajayi Crowther University, Oyo, was tragically beaten to death by fellow students inside the Shepherd Inn hostel for allegedly stealing a mobile phone. Reports indicate that the assault began at 6pm on Friday and continued until about 10am on Saturday. Disturbing videos show the deceased being beaten with sticks.
The university has confirmed the incident, stating that the involved students have been expelled and handed over to the police. The university also emphasized its zero-tolerance policy for misconduct and confirmed that the expelled students were not part of any cult group.
