It’s World Cup season, and it feels like it! One of the best parts of every World Cup is the accompanying soundtrack. Whether official or unofficial, these songs offer an entry point for people who may not be die-hard football fans to join in the excitement and cultural moment surrounding the tournament.

This year is no different. Slowly, the tracklist and songs from the Official FIFA World Cup 2026 Album have been revealed, beginning with Shakira and Burna Boy’s Dai Dai. African artists are quite well represented, with Nigerian artists making up one of the largest national contingents on the project.
